Bin Badges are a type of reward on Bin Weevils that are earned by completing broad activities and tasks. Introduced in January 2013, Bin Badges were introduced as an achievement system for Bin Weevils. Players can earn achievements throughout the Bin by completing sets of broad activities (e.g. spending 20000 Mulch, spending 20 Dosh, adopting a Bin Pet, completing SWS missions, earning 25000 Mulch from Lab's Laboratory, purchasing 1000 items, collecting 100 hats, purchasing 5000 seeds, etc).
A collection of Bin Badges were later released for several SWS missions, accepted from Castle Gam. To learn how to earn each Bin Badge star, you hover over its badge on the Bin Badge menu. To view a player's Bin Badges click on the golden shield icon on their profile card. Bin Badges can be found via the shield icon. Each Bin Badge has five stars and a task to complete. Once you have completed every star you will receive the golden Bin Badge. Once you have completed the Bin Badges for the SWS Special Ops missions you will receive 1 to 5 stars depending on your mission performance. These remain complex to earn.
Once you have completed the SWS Case Files you will be graded either an A, B or C on your mission and 1 to 3 stars. SWS Special Ops have 5 broad stars to complete, while SWS Case Files have 3 stars to complete. Bin Tycoons can replay missions as many times as they want to get a higher score. The better and faster you complete your mission, the more stars you’ll earn on your Bin Badge until you get a top grade and earn all 5 stars. A pop-up will appear on the right hand side of your screen when you have completed each Bin Badge task and star for different activities around the Bin.

- A set of Bin Badges were planned for release, but for unknown reasons they were not released. This includes the SWS Agent and Ice Cream Monster Bin Badges. In the game code, Bin Weevils had serious plans to add another layer to the star system. If you earned every Bin Badge in each category you would earn a star next to the category's icon.
- Some Bin Badges are easier to obtain such as becoming a Bin Tycoon or playing for a whole year. Other Bin Badges are more complex to earn, such as earning over 25000 from Lab’s Laboratory, spending over 20000 Mulch, completing SWS missions, collecting 100 hats, and purchasing over 5000 garden seeds. The golden Bin Badges are a way to show someone is well trained and well acknowledged about Bin Weevils.
- The Bin Tycoon Camera can be accessed on the Bin Badge menu so Bin Tycoons can take pictures of their Bin Badges.
