Bin gardens are virtual gardens in Bin Weevils located outside of your nest. Every weevil has a garden where they can plant and grow exotic plants and design their garden with a variety of seeds of all shapes and sizes. Gardens were introduced after the 2010 relaunch and quickly became a much valued.

Grow a Bin garden and buy seeds and watch them grow into beautiful marshmallow plants or special bling mushrooms! Then invite friends round to show off your good work. Garden seeds require hourly or daily harvesting. They will reward you with a certain amount of XP and Mulch. Harvesting your garden and keeping it in good health will help your levelling needs. Some seeds are rarer to obtain and buy and many reward higher XP and Mulch than others. Run by Tab, the Garden Shop inside the Shopping Mall sells seeds and furniture for your garden. This is the location where you buy everything for your garden; fences, statues, items, seeds, fountains, and decorations. Stock changes regularly, so you will always locate new seeds and you can buy garden seeds in bulk.

Once you have chosen your seed or item from the Garden Shop, you will be informed its Mulch, XP and harvesting requirements. Some seeds take days to harvest and grow, while other plants take a few hours. You must purchase a Watering Can to water your garden otherwise your seeds and items will wither. It's important to keep your garden well grown and in good health.

Once your seed or item has harvested there are two options: harvest or water. If you wish to harvest the seed and to receive its Mulch and XP rewards, click harvest. If you wish to keep your seed, click water.  Bin Tycoons can use the Harvest Helper tool in their gardens to harvest their perishable and permanent seeds in one click. In your My Stuff Box, hover your mouse over your seeds and item to see how long they live and grow for and general item information. Your My Stuff Box houses your garden seeds and furniture. They are both separated in two categories.

Garden Shop[]

Introduced in 2010 and run by Tab, the Garden Shop is located on the second floor of the Shopping Mall. You can access the shop directly from your garden via the buy seeds sign. This is the shop where you purchase garden essentials such as seeds, furniture, fences, statues, decorations, rare items, etc. Before purchasing, a pop-up will appear showing you how long a seed and item grows for, its harvesting requirements and its XP and Mulch rewards. Items rotate every 30 minutes so there is always something to purchase. Rarer seeds and items have a rare, medium and super rare symbol. These appear less often than other stock. Players must obtain a minimum level to purchase garden items and seeds.

Housed next door in the Shopping Mall, Garden Plots run by the Garden Inspector is the location where Bin Tycoons expand their garden to large, deluxe and super deluxe sizes. This gives Bin Tycoons an advantage of having more space to decorate their garden with more seeds resulting in higher Mulch and XP rewards.

Tab has many seeds on sale at his shop, however, there are many rare seeds that are only obtained via stamping your Bin Card daily. Bin Cards are a daily reward scheme located inside your nest halls. Every day you stamp your Bin Card to unlock special rewards such as vouchers, items, puzzle pieces, Dosh, Mulch, XP and exclusive mystery seeds for your garden. These Bin Tycoon only seeds and items last forever and each time you harvest them you will earn large amounts of Mulch and XP.

Garden Expansions[]

Need a bigger garden to place all your beautiful seeds and items? Bin Tycoons can upgrade their gardens to larger, extra large, deluxe and super deluxe sizes at Garden Plots inside the Shopping Mall, next door to the Garden Shop. This is the location run by the Garden Inspector where you upgrade your garden space for roughly 16,000-108,000 Mulch. Expanding your garden gives you more space to decorate and plant. This results in higher amounts of Mulch and XP earnings. With your Mulch earnings you can save up or spend your hard earned Mulch on more garden seeds. Expanding your garden increases your chance of increasing your level at a faster rate. Gardening is a useful source for earning Mulch and XP.

When a buddy has been rewarded a trophy, you will be alerted in buddy news. Once your nest is ready for inspection you will receive a Green Garden Inspector Camera in your nest hall near your Nest Coolness. You can use this camera to take pictures of garden. You must have the Super Deluxe garden size and a well decorated garden for the camera to appear. Players can decorate rewarded garden trophies in their gardens.
