Hats are a Bin Tycoon benefit and are a way to show your social status in Bin Weevils. There are a vide variety of hats on sale at Hem's Hats inside Dosh's Palace. Run by Hem, the Bin's expert stylist and ultimate hat designer, the shop sells hats for your weevil. There are many hats on sale such as crown hats, spiky hats, viking hats, flower hats or headdresses.
Many hats have different variations. All hats sold at Hem's Hats are obtained via Dosh. Every hat requires a maximum level. You can find your brought hats via the arrow button on your profile card.
Due to the complexity of the way the weevil avatars are formed, and the fact bug insects wearing clothing would feel inappropriate, hats are the only accessory for your weevil. Unlike other MMOs, the quality element to the gameplay focuses more in other areas than clothing.
Players can customise their weevil avatars with a range of colour and combinations to match their hat collection at the Bin Weevil Changer. There is a strong trend in Bin Weevils, which involves high levelled weevils with high XP wearing the most desired hats.
Hem's Hats[]
Hem's Hats is a shop located inside Dosh's Palace. This shop is run by Hem, the Bin's expert stylist and ultimate hat designer. Express your fashion flair by collecting and wearing hats. At Hem's Hats, you can purchase colourful headgear to suit any style, from cowboy hats to feather headdresses, crowns, berets, helmets and fabulous florals! You'll get a free Top Hat to start off your collection when you join. Hem sells over a 100 hatwear for Dosh. Players can stamp their Bin Cards every day to collect vouchers to spend in Hem's Hats.
Before 2013, Hem's Hats was located on Tycoon Island inside the Tycoon Plaza. This members-only shop was launched in 2010 along with the expansion of hats. In March 2013, Hem's Hats was relocated to Dosh's Palace. This changed made it easier for weevils to customize their weevil, as the Bin Weevil Changer is located outside Hem's Hats inside Dosh's Palace.

Trivia []
- Hats were first introduced in 2007, however, the only hat was the iconic Bin Tycoon top hats. The top hat is still on sale, in 16 colours, and is granted to all new Bin Tycoon Members.
- The KOTB (King of the Bin) Crown is the rarest hat in Bin Weevils. This was the second hat ever released on Bin Weevils along with the top hats, and was rewarded to King of the Bin winners from 2007-2010. Wearing this hat item was considered prestigious.
- In 2010, after the relaunch Tycoon Island was introduced to the game along with the Tycoon Plaza. Hem and her hat shop made its debut along with the changes later on, allowing Bin Tycoons the availability to wear several new styles of hats for Mulch. Before the introduction of Hem's Hats, the moderator james was spotted on a few occasions sporting a few of the new hats.
- In 2012, hats were only obtainable via Dosh. Over the years some hats lowered in pricing. In 2013, Hem's Hats moved to a new location inside Dosh's Palace. Players can use vouchers collected from their Bin Cards to purchase hats at Hem's Hats. Each hat requires a maximum level and many hats have different variants. A Bin Badge for collecting 100 hats was added in 2013.
- In 2014, the Level-Free Hat Sale at Hem's Hats was announced. This was a limited only discount sale where all stock at Hem's Hats were obtainable without any level requirements. Before 2014, some hats were available for everyone such as top hats.
- Each individual hat comes with over 400 individual frames in the game code.
- Throughout special events, promotional hat contests were held. If a player wore a special hat throughout a certain period or event they would receive an exclusive nest item along with a message from Big Weevil.
- Hem's Hats was redesigned in 2015, introducing a more updated design and logo. Before hand, hats rotated every 30 minutes. Some hats had a rare symbol and were rarer to obtain.
